What to Include in Support Requests

To help us resolve your issue quickly, please include:

  • Robot Information:
    • Model (Svan M2, Cobot C1)
    • Serial number (found on bottom plate)
    • Purchase date
  • Software Version:
    ros2 pkg list | grep xterra
    cat /etc/xterra/version
  • Problem Description:
    • What you were trying to do
    • What actually happened
    • Steps to reproduce
    • Error messages or logs

Collecting Diagnostic Information

# Generate diagnostic report
ssh xterra@192.168.1.100
sudo xterra-diagnostics --full > diagnostics_$(date +%Y%m%d).txt

# Download the file
scp xterra@192.168.1.100:~/diagnostics_*.txt .

# Include this file in your support request

Software Updates

# Check for updates
ssh xterra@192.168.1.100
sudo xterra-update check

# Install updates
sudo xterra-update install

# Reboot after update
sudo reboot

Return & Repair

If your robot needs repair:

  1. Contact support to obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number
  2. Pack the robot securely in original packaging if available
  3. Include RMA number and problem description
  4. Ship to the address provided by support
Important: Do not return products without an RMA number. Unauthorized returns may be refused.
